Traveling With Pets

Travel with your pets.

For those traveling by car, please pay special attention to your Pet's Safety:
There have been too many incidents of cats and dogs suffering from heat stroke after being left in a hot car.
Leave at least two windows (for cross ventilation) open slightly to provide fresh air.
Hot Dog!
NEVER leave animals in the car in hot climates during the warmer months, as even a short time in a hot vehicle can be injurious to your pet.

Worldwide Travel Information

Planning a vacation or a business trip takes work. You must decide where you want to stay each night, how you are going to get there, and how you are going to get from place to place once you are there.

Unless you are driving, you must purchase plane tickets, often well in advance. Additionally, for vacation travel, you must plan what sites you are going to see and in what activities you are going to participate. This, too, may require that you purchase tickets well in advance

Do your research on your intended destination

Pack your own light snack. Not all flights provide meals. It's better and far cheaper

Pack wisely and travel lightly

Leave number and address with family and friends

Adequate supply of medication if warranted

Be patient while in queue.

Do not leave your luggage or carry-on bags un-attended

Be observant

Fasten your seat belt when requested

Thank the flight crew

Watch your step

Tip Your Driver

Rent a car Friday to Monday because rental companies often offer weekend discounts.

 AIRPORT CHECK- INS

If your schedule allows, please try to be at the airport at least two hours before departure. It makes for a less stressful check in, a relaxed wait, and the start of a beautiful vacation or business trip.

Procrastination does not pay. Planning a trip? book way ahead. Many discount fares require you reserve 7-21 days in advance. International fares, a 30-day advance purchase is often required.

Airport Security Screening: Regardless of the time spent in queue, it protects all on your flight. Be cooperative and patient with the Security Personnel and check in staff when your luggage is being checked. It is their duty to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable flight.

PACKING TIPS FROM LUGGAGE ONLINE

Nail clippers and tweezers are safe again! The government has decided that the likelihood of tweezers and clippers being used as weapons to take over a plane is low enough that they will again be allowed in your carry-on luggage. Better forget about those nose-hair clippers, however, pointed tip metal scissors, no matter how small, are still prohibited.

We have seen some travelers being asked to leave some of their personal articles behind, because they were not aware of the weight requirements in place. This is very frustrating and stressful for all travelers a Luggage Online.com  Luggage Requirements

SLEEPING IN AIRPORTS

Sometimes when we least expect it, something happens to dampen our travel plans. Whether it is due to fog or other adverse weather conditions, be prepared for anything when you travel. Flight delays are to be expected and overnight delays do occur. Be prepared to bunk down in an airport if all else fails. Sleeping in Airports
