The Trade Winds Caribbean

The place to be even for a little while

The Caribbean is a melting pot of islands blended by dialect, food and customs. They range from Antigua to St Kitts. The islands of the trade winds as they are called from time to time. There is the jazz festival held in Barbados and St Lucia along with the "reggae sunfest" held in Jamaica.

Dubbed, "Eighth Continent of the World", the Caribbean has an amazing variety of terrain - from thick rain forests to volcanoes, from white- to black-sand beaches.

Walk into a bar and you could find one of the world's top reggae bands jamming with locals. Walk anywhere and you will find someone to dance with, someone to party with someone to celebrate with and have a festival.

Saint Lawrence Gap in Christ Church Barbados is a fine example and so is the fish fry trade windsy Sea side Oistins for fish fry. Music and dance drive the festival beat, from jazz to soul, samba

Want to hear some good reggae music? Like the soothing words of the great Bob Marley." don't you worry about a thing cause every little thing is gong to be allright. Relax and enjoy Click here for Jahworks

My travel highlights to the Caribbean include the food, and the sea. I love the fish, the rice and peas and the coconut bread. And yes, my flying fish which is usually seasoned with all the herbs and spices you cn find in Barbados and all fresh.
